One of TPG’s most anticipated new hotels of 2024 is finally open to travelers looking for an ultraluxury escape in South Florida.

The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort is officially open to any guest with a hotel, spa or restaurant reservation, per a phone call TPG made to the hotel Friday. The new resort — which is the only new St. Regis opening in the U.S. this year — sits on a beautiful barrier island near picturesque Sarasota.

Rates currently start at $616, or 88,000 Marriott Bonvoy points, per night.

The newest St. Regis property features an 800-foot private beach, a 20,000-square-foot spa and a 475-foot-long winding river pool. There’s even a Champagne button to summon a glass of fizzy fabulosity — you are staying at a St. Regis, after all.

With 168 accommodations available, the resort features 26 suites with private terraces, and all accommodations lean into a beach-chic aesthetic with blond wooden plank floors, rainfall showers, free-standing bathtubs and walk-in closets. Butler service — a St. Regis standard — is also part of your stay at The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort.

“I’m pretty convinced that most people when they walk in [will] say ‘wow,'” Winfred van Workum, the property’s general manager, told TPG earlier this year. “But I really hope after the first day, they walk away and say, ‘This is the best service I’ve ever received.'”
