How to earn 1,000 Delta SkyMiles on your next Hilton stay

Sometimes, the best things in life come from great friends. This is exactly why we’re excited to hear that Hilton and Delta Air Lines are teaming up to offer an easy way to earn some quick Delta SkyMiles.

Starting now, Hilton Honors members can register for a special limited-time offer to earn 1,000 bonus Skymiles for booking a stay.

Here’s how it works: Hilton Honors members can head to the promotion’s official landing page to register by May 6. Then book a stay directly through Hilton’s website or the Hilton Honors app. You must complete the stay by July 7.

Just like that, you’ll earn 1,000 bonus miles as long as you have active Hilton Honors and Delta SkyMiles accounts.

Of course, there’s always some extra fine print to read. For this promotion, only new Hilton stays qualify. So, don’t think you can earn miles on stays you booked before registering.

Additionally, the names on the Hilton Honors and Delta SkyMiles accounts must match, and you need to make sure you’re logged into your Hilton Honors account while making the booking.

If you do all of that, you’ll get 1,000 SkyMiles deposited into your account within six to eight weeks of the completed stay. Just note there’s a maximum of three stays per SkyMiles member on this offer. The bonus miles don’t count toward Medallion Status or Million Miler Status, either.

Although 1,000 points isn’t a ton, it’s better than none, right?

Since you must complete the stay by July 7, those summer dates give you plenty of time to check out some of our favorite Hilton hotels. These include the best Hiltons in the world, our favorite Hilton all-inclusive properties or even a luxury-filled stay at one of the best Waldorf Astoria properties in the world.

It’s an exciting time to be a Hilton Honors loyalist, considering that the company just announced it’ll be growing its luxury arm by acquiring a majority stake in the parent company of NoMad Hotel. It plans to grow the brand to up to 100 properties in the coming years.

That news came hot on the heels of other big announcements: The cheeky, collegiate-themed brand Graduate Hotels will soon be integrated into Hilton Honors, as will the outdoorsy brand AutoCamp.
