Earn Hilton Honors bonus points by booking Delta premium flights
Delta Air Lines and Hilton are teaming up to give loyalty members extra points when they fly in style. If you book and fly any of Delta’s premium cabins (ranging from the extra-legroom Comfort+ to luxurious Delta One suites) between now and mid-September, you can earn 1,000 Hilton Honors points per one-way flight up to a maximum of six flights. That’s up to 6,000 points toward your next Hilton stay.
Here’s how you can take advantage of this offer.
Deal basics
Airline: Delta
Routes: Any route booked in a premium cabin (Comfort+, first class, Premium Select or Delta One)

Per the terms and conditions, you can also book a “comparable premium cabin on a flight marketed by Delta’s Core Global and Global Airline Partners and ticketed through a Delta channel (featuring a ticket number beginning with ‘006’).”

According to TPG’s June 2024 valuations, 6,000 Hilton Honors points are worth $36. You can use these points to help cover some (if not all) of the cost of your Hilton stay, including those at luxury properties and in premium rooms. Remember, though, that these are considered bonus points, so they won’t count toward elite status.

How to get this deal
Before booking your Delta premium flight, you must register for this promotion at this page. You must have both a Hilton Honors and a Delta SkyMiles account. (If you don’t already, you can set them up for free.)
You must also set Delta as your preferred travel partner in your Hilton Honors account. To do this, log into Hilton Honors, head to your profile and select “Travel preferences.” Then, scroll down to the preferred travel partners section, add Delta as a travel partner, enter your Delta SkyMiles number and check the “Preferred” box.
After you do this, make sure you’re signed into your SkyMiles account when you book your ticket. Know that you won’t be able to book someone else’s ticket to take advantage of this promotion; the names on the SkyMiles account, the Hilton Honors account and the ticket must all match.

Best credit cards for earning Hilton Honors points
This promo is just one way to grow your supply of Hilton Honors points. This summer, Hilton is offering another promotion that will earn you double points on every Hilton stay through Sept. 2.
The Hilton Honors program also offers several cobranded credit cards. Not only do these earn extra points on Hilton stays, but they also come with juicy welcome bonuses that will get you much closer to your next free vacation.

Bottom line
A thousand Hilton Honors points for a premium flight isn’t an earth-shattering deal, but if you were already planning to fly in a Delta premium cabin this summer, this is an easy way to earn some extra points. Just be sure to read the fine print and follow the necessary steps before you book.
