Deal alert: Big savings at Disney World this spring and summer

Here are two words you don’t hear together very often: Disney and savings.

So it’s especially exciting that Mickey is rolling out the red carpet in Orlando for cost-savvy travelers this spring and summer. Disney World is offering some of the most heavily discounted theme park tickets we’ve spotted in a long time.

Since CEO Bob Iger took the helm (again) in late 2022, we’ve seen softening prices and policies that remind us of the pre-COVID-19 good old days of Disney.

Resort parking fees are gone, park pass reservations were phased out in January and dining plans also made their triumphant return recently. Now, you can also potentially save hundreds of dollars on your family’s summer tickets to Disney World.

There are two different deals, so let’s take a look at both.

Disney World 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket

With this special deal, you visit three parks — Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom — on three separate days. Note that you can’t visit Magic Kingdom. However, the price on this 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket is remarkable: $89 a day, for a total of $267, plus tax.

A comparable three-day, three-park ticket bought at the lowest possible daily rate without the package is $118 per day, or $352 total. And the most expensive tickets on the most popular dates are an eye-popping $168, or $502 for three days. So you’ll save a minimum of $85 per person on this package, or potentially up to $235 per person for three days.

If you don’t mind missing Magic Kingdom — and for many families with older kids, this park is often the one they skip — this option presents significant savings.

Tickets are available to book immediately, and although Disney is calling this a “summer” package, you have a wide range of dates to choose from between April 2 and Sept. 24 (with a few holiday exceptions). Tickets must be used within five days of the selected start date.

The 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket can only be used once at each of Disney’s three theme parks named in the offer — Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom – and you can only visit one park per day and can’t repeat parks. You cannot park hop with these tickets.

Disney World 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket

But wait, there’s more! Disney has also revealed that it’s bringing back its 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket, for the same price it offered last summer: $99 a day.

This ticket gives you four total days of admission — one day at each of Disney World’s four theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios) — for just $396 plus taxes.

A regularly priced four-day Disney World ticket starts at $461 plus taxes ($116 per day, excluding taxes) and goes up to $639 plus taxes ($160 per day, excluding taxes) during the priciest times of the year.

With the 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket, you can potentially save nearly $250 per person on your four-day spring or summertime Disney World visit — and we can’t think of a better way to start your vacation than by spending less than you expected.

Bottom line

Disney’s 3-Day, 3-Park and 4-Day, 4-Park tickets are now on sale. The pricing is the lowest we’ve seen in years, and the deals extend from early spring to early fall.

If you plan to visit for three or four days in the next six months, this deal can save a family several hundred dollars over the current prices.
