Breeze to launch service from 2 new cities in late-2024
Breeze Airways is adding two new cities and five new routes to its map. The growing low-cost carrier bolstered its winter schedule with new nonstops to popular leisure spots, including added service to Florida, Las Vegas and skiing destinations.
Notably, the Provo, Utah-based carrier is adding its first-ever service from Pease International Airport (PSM) near Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Launching in October, Breeze’s nonstop to Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers will give the New England city just its second airline. Only Allegiant currently flies from PSM.
Breeze is also adding winter seasonal service to Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) in western Colorado. The airport is a popular wintertime ski destination.
“It’s exciting to add two more cities to our national network, and more nonstop routes to our Florida and West Coast destinations, combined with an affordable, premium leisure experience,” CEO David Neeleman said in a statement.

The carrier will offer nonstop service from four additional Northeast airports, including Bradley International Airport (BDL) near Hartford Connecticut; Westchester County Airport (HPN) north of New York City near White Plains, New York; T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) in Providence and Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) on New York’s Long Island.
Speaking of the latter airport, Breeze plans to expand its Long Island-to-Vero Beach frequency starting Oct. 2, with four weekly round trips operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Value check: Are airline credit cards worth it anymore?
Bottom line
These two new cities and five new routes come as Breeze continues to grow its network since launching service in 2022. The carrier plans to open its latest crew base in Fort Myers later this fall, and it has long-term plans to dramatically expand its footprint in Providence. This includes adding future international service, Neeleman told me in an interview this spring.
Meanwhile, the carrier recently launched a cobranded credit card and revamped loyalty program.
