A massive Signia by Hilton is now open in Atlanta close to Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Hilton is soaring to new heights, literally, with the opening of Signia by Hilton Atlanta. The colossal 42-story property is the largest ground-up hotel built in the Georgia capital in 40 years.

With nearly 1,000 rooms and a prime location in the Georgia World Congress Center Authority’s Championship Campus (made up of the hotel, Centennial Olympic Park, the Georgia World Congress Center and Mercedes-Benz Stadium), the hotel is sure to be a staple for travelers looking to stay near all the action and within walking distance of sporting events and concerts.

It’ll also be an exciting new spot for Hilton Honors loyalists visiting Atlanta.

The hotel was developed by Boston’s Drew Company, with architecture and interior design by Gensler.

Inside the new property, guests will find modern rooms featuring floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city. The design aesthetic that Hilton has dubbed as “Southern luxury” features natural, earthy tones, pops of leather, rattan patterning, and black and metal accents.

All rooms include the Serta Perfect Sleeper bed, Nest amenities, Nespresso machines, steamers, umbrellas, robes and slippers. Guests can also enjoy the latest in Hilton’s Connected Room technology that allows for a seamless stay; you can control many room elements from your phone and stream your favorite shows and movies from platforms like Netflix and Hulu.

Additionally, there are rooms with Peloton bikes, plus 11 wellness rooms with extra amenities like air purifiers and aromatherapy infusions.

If you want even more, you can book a Club Signia room, which comes with a dedicated Club Ambassador, early check-in, late checkout, premium W-iFi and access to the private membership club-inspired Club Signia — a lounge with all-day food and drinks alongside club-style cocktail service.

Speaking of food and drinks, there are eight options for folks to enjoy, including the upscale Italian restaurant Capolinea; a sports bar with views of Mercedes-Benz Stadium; Homespun, a Southern breakfast joint; a grab-and-go market with elevated offerings like cheese plates and crudite; a pool bar with “lighthearted Southern picnic fare;” and a classic lobby bar.

But there’s more to do than just eat and sleep at this towering new Signia. Guests can beat the sticky Georgia heat at the rooftop pool complex that overlooks Mercedes-Benz Stadium, head to the fitness center to work out on a Peloton bike or take advantage of a yoga station.

Later this year, a spa and beauty bar will also be on offer, with spa amenities featuring brands like Babor, Botanika Life, Essence One, Higher Dose and Hyperice. Treatments will range from blowouts and pedicures to massages and cryofacials.

And, if you’re looking to host an event in Atlanta, Signia offers more than 100,000 square feet of event space, including 30,000 square feet of outdoor space.

How to book

Rates at the Signia by Hilton Atlanta fluctuate on Hilton’s flexible booking calendar but can fall as low as $239 per night. And, like any hotel close to a stadium or arena, expect those cash rates to be much higher during major events like an Atlanta Falcons game or a big concert.

Hilton Honors members can book a Standard Room Reward from 63,000 points per night.
