Earn 2,500 points per stay with Hilton’s Power Up promotion
Hilton has just launched its new Power Up promotion for autumn.
The generous promotion allows travelers to earn 2,500 bonus Hilton Honors points for every stay between Sept. 3 and Dec. 31 — that’s a chance to earn bonus points for almost four entire months.
What’s more, you can also currently earn double points on all Hilton stays by registering on hiltonhonors.com.
Here’s a breakdown of the Power Up promotion.
Hilton’s new Power Up promotion
You’ll first need to register for the promotion to take advantage of the deal. Once that’s done, you can earn 2,500 bonus points per stay with no minimum night requirement. A one-night stay will be eligible for the same number of bonus points as a weeklong stay.
The number of points you’re eligible to earn is unlimited, and the promotion is valid at all hotels and resorts within the Hilton portfolio.
Additionally, if you’re checking in before Sept. 3, you’ll receive bonus points if the stay is completed on or after Sept. 3 and before Dec. 31.
The bonus points do not count toward Hilton elite status qualification.

Maximize your earnings with a Hilton credit card
While 2,500 bonus points on top of the points you’ll already earn for your stay is a good haul, if you pay with a Hilton cobranded credit card, your earnings could skyrocket.

- Hilton Honors American Express Card: Earn 80,000 Hilton Honors bonus points after you spend $2,000 on purchases on the card in the first three months of card membership, with no annual fee (see rates and fees). Earn 7 points per dollar spent on eligible purchases at hotels and resorts in the Hilton portfolio. Terms apply.
- Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card: Earn 130,000 Hilton Honors bonus points after you spend $3,000 on purchases on the card in the first six months of card membership. Finally, if you don’t have a cobranded Hilton credit card, you can still maximize your earnings by using a credit card that earns transferable points, such as The Platinum Card® from American Express, which earns 5 Membership Rewards points per dollar spent on prepaid hotels booked with American Express Travel.
The card will also get you $200 back in statement credits each year on prepaid Fine Hotels + Resorts or The Hotel Collection bookings through American Express Travel.
Amex points transfer to Hilton Honors at a 1:2 ratio; the minimum transfer amount is 200 points.

Bottom line
This is a great promotion for Hilton stays in the second half of the year and could stand to earn you a good haul of Hilton Honors points, particularly if you combine the points bonus with the points earned by spending on a Hilton cobranded credit card.
Even if you don’t have Hilton stays planned, registering for the promotion only takes a minute, and you never know when it could come in handy.
