British Airways and Uber want to make you an Avios millionaire
British Airways and Uber have teamed up to run an extremely generous giveaway that could turn four winners into Avios millionaires.
To get the chance to win, you must be based in the U.K., according to your British Airways Executive Club and Uber accounts. If you tick this box, you’ll also need to ensure that your Executive Club and Uber accounts are linked.

With your accounts linked, you only need to take an Uber ride in the U.K. between Monday and April 7. Upon taking your ride, you’ll automatically be entered into a prize drawing. You can also get an additional entry if you book train travel via the Uber app.
One winner will be selected each week during the competition period. Each winner will receive 1 million Avios, enough to fly with four friends from London to the U.S. in Club World for just 450 British pounds (about $578) per person in taxes and fees. Or, looking at short-haul redemptions, the haul would grant you 54 off-peak economy round-trip flights within Europe at just 1 pound (about $1.28) per person in taxes and fees.
How to link your British Airways Executive Club and Uber accounts
To be eligible for the prize drawing, you must link your Executive Club and Uber accounts; you can do this by navigating to the settings section of the Uber app.

There, you’ll be asked to add your Executive Club number and follow the instructions to link both accounts.
Once linked, you’ll collect 1 Avios per eligible pound spent on Uber rides and coach or rail fares.
Bottom line
British Airways and Uber are partnering on a huge Avios giveaway, and it couldn’t be easier to enter and potentially win 1 million Avios. The competition runs between Monday and April 7. Check out the full terms and conditions on Uber’s website.
